Bad Paintless Dent Repair Examples

NOT ALL DENT COMPANIES ARE THE SAME!!!!!

The following is a real example of a hail damge vehicle repaird by another local Charleston area dent company. The company repaired this vehicle at their shop and this is their “finished product”.

As stated on our Advantages page, drilling holes in your car to access dents is generally considered unacceptable except in extreme cases. If you decide to go to another paintless dent repair company, ASK THEM IF THEY ARE GOING TO DRILL ANY HOLES IN YOUR VEHICLE.

This vehicle was a brand new and had been hit at the factory with hail prior to shipment to the dealer from the manufacturer. The entire factory had close to 3,000 cars hit with hail awaiting shipment to dealers.

After pointing out all the flaws as seen below to the dealership management the remainning hail damaged vehicles were repaired by Dent Dynamics.

Bad examples of paintless dent removal

This image below example is of the inside of a sliding door on a Ford Windstar minivan. This particular dent company that did this work opened the door and punched multiple holes in the door jamb in attempt to quickly gain access to the backside of this customer’s dents. Not only were they not successful in removing the dents but they did not even bother to seal the holes they made, leaving bare metal that will quickly begin to rust. So much for your vehicles perfect image. Unfortunately, this company did more damage than good to this vehicle which resulted in a traditional body shop having to replace the entire door.
